Wailua Bay View 210 Living Room with Sofabed
Our tropical decor features a queen size sofa sleeper and rattan chairs.
As an alternative to the sofa bed, we have a comfortable queen aerobed.
The "floor to ceiling" windows open out to our lanai overlooking Wailua beach.
A ceiling fan, along with Kauai's ocean breezes, keeps you cool and comfortable.

Our fully equipped kitchen is ideal for monthly rentals or shorter stays,
with a full size range oven, dishwasher and large refrigerator with ice maker.
In addition to dishes, untensils, cookware & bakeware, small appliances include
microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, mixer, frying pan, crockpot, rice cooker.
Our condo has two telephones for local calls, one with a dataport and answering machine.
We now have high speed wireless internet in the unit.  Easy to connect with wireless adapter.
You'll find Kauai guide books, games, video cassettes, playing cards, binoculars in the bookcase.

Our entertainment corner includes cable TV, VCR, DVD player AM/FM stereo, CD & tape player.
Bring your own or enjoy our selection of Hawaiian music cassettes, CDs, guidebooks and videos.
If you plan to eat in or entertain for dinner, we have table linens and dinner ware.

The view from our private lanai can't be beat, especially at sunrise.
Relax while watching the ever-changing beach scene, just below the lanai.
Depending on the waves, you can watch the surfers, boogie boarders, kayakers...
In winter, whales play just outside the bay.  You might see a school of spinner dolphins come through.
Bedroom in apartment 210 has shutters to calm noise and light, phone, AC, lots of drawer space
The bedroom has a queen size bed, large dresser, air conditioner, portable television,
(feel free to move TV to top of dresser) large triple closet, ceiling fan and louvered windows and shutters.
The bedroom is decorated with local art.  The unit includes an iron and ironing board, an alarm clock, 
2 telephones, one with digital answerer, one cordless, fully stocked linen closet and washer, dryer.

or dine pool-side.  For your use, 2 gas barbecue grills are
located near tables and chairs in the pool area.

Our private lanai offers a gorgeous view of the Kauai coastline.
Looking south, you can see Wailua Beach all the way to the River
As well as the tip of Lydgate Park and the span of  beach known as Nukoli'i.

Beautiful Wailua Beach is your back yard!  You can walk on the beach to the Wailua River.
It makes a nice early morning wake-up walk, or an after dinner romantic stroll.
We Have an Ideal Location:
Wailua Bay View Condominiums are located at 320 Papaloa Rd. (Map)  Just 7 miles from Lihue Airport.  Centrally located on Kauai, sightseeing is a breeze going either direction!  It's about 30 miles to the end of the road at Ke'e Beach and 35 miles to the end of the road at Polihale.  A drive north will take you to many picturesque beaches.  Driving south and west takes you to Poipu, the Waimea Canyon and long sandy Kekaha Beach.
Dining, Shopping, Activities:
It's an easy walk to the Coconut Market Place, Kinipopo Shopping Village and several other shopping areas.   Kauai Restaurants have enough variety to meet all tastes and budgets, some within walking distance, most within 30 minutes of the condo.  Also a short drive away is Foodland, Safeway at Kauai Village, Kukui Grove Shopping Mall, Kauai Artist's Fair.  Nearby attractions include Lydgate Park, Smith's Tropical Paradise, Fern Grotto, Opaekaa Falls, Sleeping Giant, Keahua Arboretum, with hiking trails and awesome views.  Nearby Kauai activites include Kayaking the Wailua, the Blue Hole Adventure, Mountain Tubing Adventure, more.

Wailua Bayview is rated the "Best Bargain on Kauai" and a "Solid Gold Value"
by The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook.

Rental rate varies depending on dates. Currently we are living in our unit, but
are just now starting to take new bookings for the spring and next fall, winter and spring.
Please inquire about rates for your dates of interest.

To the rent, we add taxes 12.416% (or 13.416% beginning July 2010) and cleaning fee of $100
If you have more than two people in your party, there is an additional person fee of $12 per day for each person.
Maximum occupancy is four people, but is best suited for two.  This unit is not childproof, so we suggest no toddlers. 
Wailua Bay View is a non-smoking building and #210 is a non-smoking unit, including no smoking on the front porch or lanai.

A deposit of $300 holds your reservation, with full payment due 30 days before your arrival.  Rates are U.S. funds.  
The unit is cleaned before your arrival and cleaned again after your departure. Check-in time 3:00PM.  Check-out time: 10:00AM.  Cancellation policy:  30 days notice for refund of deposit.
